Update on us 11/26/10

27 Nov

We are having a great time here in Indy and it’s been such a blessing being able to spend time with family!  We have so much to be thankful for, especially this year!

Graham is doing really well here.  It’s been good for him to be around his family and it has not been too overwhelming for him yet :0) When we get home I’ll spend more time in detail about our time here, but I really just wanted to thank everyone once again for their continued love, prayers and support during this time.  I truly am so thankful for that right now.

I also wanted to let everyone know that we will be at Heartland church this Sunday sharing a little about what the Lord is doing in our lives right now.  I know that many people have wanted to see Graham and this might be the best time to do that.  The service times are 9 and 11am in Fishers and also at 10 am at Hamilton Southeastern High school.

Keep praying for us!  Graham is beginning to accept this “new person” and that is very hard at times for both of us.

So glad that you all are enjoying your time in Indiana! Still praying as each day brings challenges of it’s own.

I understand what you mean about the “new” person thing Randi… you see glimpses of the old but things aren’t quite as they were before. Hannah is still very physically disabled and her right eye is droppy so it is very visual to us unlike with your healing journey however the differnce in who Graham was before the accident is most obvoius to the both of you. In light of that i want to encourage you to know that when God created Graham He knew he had created him in such as way that this would be part of who he is now even after the accident. That thought has given me much comfort to know God’s plan for Hannah hasn’t changed He still knows the plans He has for her even when I feel like her plan and our plan has totally gone off course. He still knows the plans he has for all of us… I rest in that peace and comfort and I pray that for the both of you also. Blessings , Sharon

    Graham and Randi,
It was so nice to see you “in person”, talking and laughing and sharing your testimony. You’re dad was so very nice to listen to and his message was incredible! God is truly amazing and using this disaster to bring His glory to the spotlight! I know it’s a process and things will never be what they were, but eventually this new normal will become normal, and will far exceed any expectations. It was truly amazing to see you both, and was inspiring as God spoke to my heart, once again, through the message and your testimony. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for your honesty and your example.
